Lose Your Dreams and You Will Lose Your Mind

About Me

Whu? You want to "know" me? Well, listen to this. It's the best I can do.
"The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it"
-Some Guy
"It's always night or we wouldn't need light"
-Thelonious Monk
"If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything"
-Mark Twain
"Drink up! The World's About to End!"
-Some Other Guy

Billy Ocean is the single greatest positive influence on my life. You could say he is my hero.
When adversity faces Billy Ocean, he retains a defiant, yet positive attitude. He will "climb any mountain," he'll "swim every sea" to get what he wants. He believes that "when the going gets tough, the tough get going."
Billy Ocean knows "there'll be sad songs to make you cry," yet he also knows he will overcome. To Billy Ocean, it's as simple as actualizing a dream through positive message and resilience. He can literally turn a dream into reality, such as when he implores "get outta my mind, get into my life. Get outta my dreams, get into my car."
But this is not to say that Mr. Ocean takes a narcissistic approach to life's challenges. No, he believes in sharing experiences and wisdom. In the love zone, "you don't have to be alone. Together we can live and learn."
I only wish more people were like Billy Ocean. I know I'm working hard every day to be. It's difficult, but I won't let that stop me, because "when the going gets tough, the tough get going."

I try to do right, but not everything I do is always right.
Seems everyone on MySpace is either a Fetish Model, a Twisted Lech, or in a band. I'm the third (I think). Here's my bands:
The Fade-Aways (dead band)
The Big D Three! (dead band)
My Own Damn Self
The Fabulous Harmonaires
HotRod Otis (dead band)
Oh, and funny thing...even though I'm in a buncha bands, I generally don't approve friend requests from other bands, unless you're my bestest friend or I owe you a favor. So don't be hurt, it's just that I don't really care when you're playing or if you made a demo. Especially if you're not in the DFW area. And especially if you suck (and you do suck). If you really, REALLY insist on me adding you, go to one of the band profiles up above, and I'll be glad to do it from there.
My idea of a pretty good evening:

My Interests

Music, Beer, vintage clothes, vintage guitars, old broken cars, old busted motorcycles.

Old stuff, music and drinking in general.

Being annoyed.

Trying to forget about it all.

Weird

God, it's weird to be back home, living "my" life. It's like being in another person's place.
