When guitarist extraordinaire, Freddie Nelson, decided to be a singer, it posed a very obvious question...why wasn't this guy singing all along.
After forming Too Tall Jones at the turn of the century with Rusted Root bassist Patrick Norman, the band has played to sold out shows across the country.
The band now includes the over the top drumming of Matt Muckle (Sinomatic, Buck Cherry), the power guitar of Dan Parise, and Mike Mizza lays down the groove oriented bass lines. This band writes great songs with greater attitude. The style is best described as influence (Queen, AC/DC, Cult) meets creativity as this band intends to innovate not just imitate.
