About Me

I'm a 25 year old actress living in Los Angeles, but at heart I'm still a small town girl. Basically I'm a country girl stuck in the big bad city.
I'm constantly busy running around but would rather spend a quite night at home than be out on the town.
I coach high school volleyball, which despite the stress, relieves more than it causes.
I'm an avid movie buff, and wish I went out to the theater more often.
I love to read, especially sci-fi fantasy. But I'll read anything I can get my hands on. I'm always looking for new suggestions.
I'm into the classics and history having double majored in college in theater and classical languages (latin and greek).
I prefer country music, but listen to anything and everything.
Lately I've been more into local bands than anything else. The best rock band in the world POETS & PORNSTARS!!!
I'm a liberal but I hate politics...mostly because I hate politicians.
I function best in organized chaos.
I don't get anything done unless I'm super busy.
I'm the world's greatest procrastinator. After all I've always been known as the Goddess of Procrastination. As you see the key to being a phenomenal procrastinator is putting everything off till the last possible moment and then still getting it done on time.
I grew up on a 500 acre ranch and have raised everything in my life except goats and llamas.
I love horse and I love to ride.
Altogether I'm a eclectic mix of widely varying tastes.

I'd like to meet:

First off...if you want to get to know me that's fine...great even. But please don't just send me an add and expect me to agree to it. I know probably 99% of the people on my friends list personally. And the few I don't have actually taken the time to get to know me first. So please send me a message if you like, just make sure you have something to say. For those who didn't hear me the first time, I'll repeat. Do not just send me an add without including some sort of message. I will ignore it.
I'd like to meet someone with whom I can laugh, but also someone I can have a conversation with. Someone whom I can go out and DO something with even if that something is just catching a movie. I'd like to meet someone who knows how to appreciate a good time but is committed and serious about the things they want in life.

Music:

Generally I listen to country mostly. But in reality there's nothing I won't listen to. Lately I've been more into local bands than anything else. Which brings me right around to the awesomest rock gods ever...POETS AND PORNSTARS!!! Also Daredevil Jane and Immune. Check out all of their myspaces. Fabulous! But what it all comes down to is if it's music I listen to it. :)

Movies:

Princess Bride tops the list for sure. I prefer action/adventure films and comedies (I particularly enjoy British comedy). My top films at the moment are Hitchhikers Guide and Count of Monte Cristo. My movie collection though is large and varied ranging from classics like The Great Escape to stupid comedies Not Another Teen Movie, to The Terminal.

Television:

I am a crime/investigative drama junkie. My favorite show on television right now is House, but I watch a bunch of shows regularly. House, Bones, CSI (Vegas), Criminal Minds, Without A Trace, NCIS, Numbers, mostly all in the same vein. :)

Books:

Basically anything fantasy/sci-fi. Anne McCaffery, Terry Brooks, Mercedes Lackey, Anne Bishop, and on and on. I also like mysteries and if I'm going for brainless then it's no thought involved romantic thrillers. Most recently though I've been reading "Fingerprints Of The Gods"
