Zac Adams was born in Baton Rouge, LA on April 17th 1977. After graduating from Watkins Film School in Nashville, TN, Adams wrote, produced, and directed 5 short films. Each of these films played at many festivals, and have been downloaded on the internet over 40,000 times.Two of his films, "True Love" and "A Little Change," screened on many PBS stations across the country, and were featured in TV Guide.Adams is also an award-winning screenwriting. Three of his feature screenplays have placed in nine screenwriting contests across the country.Adams’ PBS Mini-Series, "Southern Haunts," is a program that delves into the myths and mysteries behind some of the scariest haunts in the south. "Southern Haunts" has won five International Awards, including a 2006 and 2007 Telly Award for outstanding TV Production. It also won a Gold Award at the Aurora Competition, honring the best TV shows and commercials. Adams, writes, produces, and directs the Mini-Series, and it has been seen by millions of viewers on PBS. It is narrated by national TV and radio personlity Charlie Chase, of "Crook and Chase" fame.In addition, Adams teaches filmmaking workshops to middle school and high school students in Nashville, TN. He has also produced and directed music videos, industrial films, and marketing videos. His work has been seen on PBS, VH-1, CMT, and GAC. He has worked with such artists as Kid Rock, Big and Rich, Charlie Daniels, Ronnie Milsap, Eddie Montgomery, Mark Slaughter, Mark Collie, Gunner and Mathew Nelson, and Kelly Keagy, from the band, "Night Ranger." He has also worked with national TV and radio personalities Charlie Chase, Ralph Emery, Hairl Hensley, Eddie Stubbs, GAC’s Nan Kelley, and Lynn Hoffman, host of A&E’s, "Private Sessions."Adams produced, directed, and co-wrote the comedic feature film, "Rush Night," which was released in 2004, and played at movie theaters in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Gallatin, Bowling Green, KY, and New York City.Adams produced and directed the TV Pilot, "It Happened in Country Music," about the most intriguing stories that have happened throughout the history of country music. It is narrated and hosted by Charlie Chase, and stars country music legends Ralph Emery, Hairl Hensley, and Eddie Stubbs.Adams is currently deveoping a feature length horror film, and will continue writing, producing, and directing several more hour long episodes of "Southern Haunts."Adams hopes to continue to write, produce, and direct films that educate and entertain his audience.
