Il gruppo nasce nel novembre del 2006, un po per scherzo e un pò per divertimento, con l’idea di partecipare ad un concorso musicale. Inizialmente la band era composta da 7 elementi: due chitarre, basso, batteria e tre voci.. Band rigorosamente al femminile!!
Tutto ebbe inizio quando la cantante (Ire) e la chitarrista (Kana) ebbero l’idea di creare un gruppo per poter partecipare al concorso; chiesero quindi la partecipazione delle (ormai ex) chitarrista e due cantanti, frequentanti la stessa classe. Successivamente fu contattata la batterista (Billa), loro amica e vicina di classe!...lei a sua volta "obbligò" la bassista (Erhy) ad inserirsi nella band, essendo amiche di lunga data.
Da qui prove costanti e impegni onerosi (uniti a tanta passione per la musica) decimarono la band, fino ad arrivare all’attuale formazione. Nell’arco dei primi due anni di vita, le ZipLock hanno cambiato più volte il nome del gruppo e, come già detto, le componenti.
I primi importanti risultati sono stati conseguiti partecipando a due concorsi musicali amatoriali (per soli ragazzi liceali), presentando delle Cover e riuscendo ad aggiudicarsi ben 3 premi.
Finalmente, nel febbraio del 2008, la band decide di lavorare al primo inedito, affrontando un vero studio di registrazione...dopo circa un mese di lavoro, il brano è pronto!
Con la creazione di questo myspace (molto atteso) siamo finalmente riuscite a raggiungere uno dei nostri obiettivi e per questo ringraziamo tutti coloro che ci hanno aiutato e sostenuto, ma soprattutto che hanno avuta taaaaaanta pazienza!! GRAZIE!!! ZipLock
Biography:
The Band was born in November of 2006 with the idea to participate
to a musical contest.
Initially the Band was composed by 7 elements, two guitars, bass, drums and three voices...All strictly girl!!
When the singer (Ire) and the leader guitarist (Kana) had the idea to create a band for the competition asked the participation of the (ex) second guitarist and two voices, because they were in the same classroom. Subsequently was contacted the drummer (Billa), their school friend; she in turn "imposed" to the bassist (Erhy) to join the band because they're friends by a long time.
From here constants band tests and expensive commitments (with so much passion for the music) reduced the band components until get the current formation.
The first important results have been achieved by partecipation to two amateur musical contest (for high school band only) , with some "Cover song", and succeeding in winning of 3 awards!
Finally, in february of 2008, the band decided to work at the first personal Demo.
With the birth of this myspace we have finally reached one of our goals.
