About Me

I am a divorced mother who lives in Southwest Louisiana. I have created this page in hopes of meeting others who believe in the unknown. Since I was a young child, there has been a spirit with me at all times. I have no clue who this spirit is; but, I am happy he is with me.My "friend" loves to make noises and pull pranks. He means no harm to anyone. When I was very young, I was scared. Nobody saw the things I saw or heard the sounds I could hear. Friends and family thought it was just my imagination. In my teenage years, I accepted the fact there was a "ghost" with me.In the past few years, he has revealed his presence to a few of those who are closest to me. I was excited to have my mother witness for herself the presence I talked about since I was around five years old.My "friend" does not do things when you expect them. If we try to get him to do something, he remains quiet. He seems to be more active when we are engrossed in conversation or watching a movie. He pulls practical jokes like emptying my kitchen cabinets or placing things in my refrigerator. There are periods of time when it seems he is not around. I worry every now and then he has left and then out of the blue he lets me know he is here.I am not crazy or out of my mind. I know he really exists. I would love to hear from you if you have felt a presence around you. Tell me your ghostly experiences.

My Interests

This page for others like me who believe in those things that remain unexplained - such as Bigfoot, UFOs, ghosts, and other entities. Learning about the occult, voodoo, and the different rites and religions practiced hundreds of years ago really interest me. I am totally fascinated with the world of the unknown. I would really love to hear about your personal experiences or thoughts on the subject.

If you would like to know more about me then please check out my original myspace page. Just click on "Connie" in my top friend list.

I love to watch all of the documentaries about ghosts and the paranormal. Of course at the top of my list is Ghost Hunters on the SciFi channel.
I also am a huge Charmed fan. I do believe there are those who have supernatural powers. As of now, just have not been lucky enough to meet any.

My heroes are those who live their lives like they want to. People who are not concerned what others think or say.
My Experience
The first encounter I had with my “ghost” happened around the age of seven. A glowing ball rolled across my bedroom floor – actually it floated and went under a spare bed. I screamed for my mom and dad. My mom came in showed me nothing was under the bed and told me to go back to sleep. My light stayed on the rest of the night!
A few weeks later I started hearing footsteps when everyone was in bed. I heard a variety of noises that could not be explained. My parents always said I had an overactive imagination.
After I got married he became very active. We moved into a home that later we found out a man had murdered his wife in it. It was fun at first. Water would turn on full blast then shut off. I could smell chocolate cake baking in the middle of the night. I would awake or come home and find my kitchen cabinets emptied onto my dining table or all my plates in my refrigerator. I soon learned to check my refrigerator for anything I could not find – sunglasses, car keys, remote controls, etc…
Then things got scary! I was a preschool teacher and would bring home their papers to put smiley faces on them and when I got up in the morning all the papers would be shredded and scattered everywhere. My ghost never did anything mean before – I did not understand. The normal strange sounds became horrible and threatening. Electricity would cut off. Worse part was the scary things only happened when my husband was asleep or not home. I could not wake him for anything – even pouring water on him would not work. One night I was by myself and I swear I actually saw my lamp jump up and down on the end table. I was so scared I left and stayed at my parent’s home. Within a week we moved out. The day we were moving a neighbor came over and told us about the murder that had occurred there. All I can figure is that my ghost did not get along with whatever spirit was in the home. Once we moved things returned to normal. Normal as it was having a friendly fun ghost.
When I was watching “The Haunted Mansion”, the movie with Eddie Murphy, I finally saw the object I saw as a child. The glowing orb that was the children’s mom was exactly the same thing I saw float across my floor. By this time, my mom had witnessed several things my ghost did. I could not wait to show her the movie – it was just like I had described as a child.
When my son was three and played with the loud toys, we would take the batteries out sometimes and next thing we (my mom and I) knew the toys would be louder than normal and with no batteries! Through the years I have really enjoyed my ghost being around.
I always believed ghosts stayed in one place – a home – a cemetery – or such. Never thought they could leave where they resided. But my ghost has moved with me everywhere.
Have had two fortune tellers tell me I have many guardian angels that I kept working in overdrive and then tell me I needed them. The same two told me a presence was with me but could give no details.
If anyone knows how I can find out just who my spirit is, please let me know.
