Broadcite head-honcho, code named ‘Tempo’, TRoy can be found popping up in all kinds of events in his home town London and overseas behind the decks or with a mic in his hand hyping the crowd up. 'Asante roots so music lives in my spirit and soul, I can’t confine myself to one particular genre of music as I have been exposed to so much diversity'After setting up and establishing co-owned UK hip-hop and breaks label Cafe Recordings in 1999, Pitched as ''the UK hiphop Band Look out for'' by 'BILLBOARD' Magazine_ TRoy decided it was time to broaden his musical boundaries and delve deeper into sound and sights giving birth to Broadcite. Influenced over the years by Afro-beat, Hip-hop, Funk , Drum & bass and various forms of Jazz - elements of which can be found in his productions - TRoy continues to explore a multitude of musical styles whilst grooming the talents of various emerging producers, vocalists and musicians. Having had various commercial releases on his Cafe recordings & Broadcite imprints + features / Collaborations on various labels such as Kingsize records, Wolftown records, Format (Belgium) amongst others. With a collection of Heavy reviews and playlist action from some of the worlds top DJ's & Radio stations (Jazz FM, Kiss FM, XFM, Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Ministry of Sound +more..)Continually working on a variety of projects under his guises ‘Tempo’ and ‘Valu’ (Thee Absent) !!!!!
