Check Back Daily, I'm Always Recording And Posting New Songs!!!!!!I am 44 years old, and have studied classical guitar on the college level with Douglas Niedt at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.I studied music education with a minor in classical guitar. While living in Kansas City, I fell in love with jazz, as there are many great jazz bands there. Kansas City has a huge history of jazz music, especially the 18th and Vine district where all the jazz greats played in the 1920's-late 1940's. Today I play very little classical music, and my focus is jazz standards. I am getting ready to try performing again, after some years away from it. I am posting songs here that I recorded in my basement for people to hear.I am from Indianola, Iowa which is 12 miles south of Des Moines, Iowa, and would like to chat with fellow musicians in the area.I take music written for piano and voice, and arrange it for guitar. I play both the melody and the chords at the same time. My style is like jazz chord solo style. The recordings you hear on this page are of me in my basement, and I hook my amplifier to my computer to record the songs.I play a Gretsch Nashiville 6120AM Blonde Maple guitar.
