Fortunately for the masses, Point Blanks CHAINZ is one of those special artists. Born Chandler Haynes in Manhattan, New York, rapper CHAINZ (a play on C. Haynes) began his pursuit of hip-hop greatness at age six, freestyling with his older cousin into a tape recorder. During his early years, CHAINZ relocated to the Washington, DC metropolitan area where he continued to amaze anyone who would listen to him rhyme, I would rap for anyone. "I wouldn't care, if you'd listen I'd flow". The current Shaw University student is one-half of the Point Blank duo, and has been rapping with Ice the Villain since 2001. His style, inspired by The Notorious B.I.G., 2pac and Big L, has its own smooth, laid back delivery and rhyme scheme. He has also made a name for himself with the signature (cignature) C he delivers before laying down a verse. His slick punchlines and unmistakable braggadocio have made him an instant hit amongst anyone who hears his rhymes. With his jaw-dropping bars, real-world subject matter and streetwise approach, C has definitely found a niche in the rap game and is determined to excel, Rap is too saturated right now, but people know the real from the fake. Its obvious Im the real deal. No arguments here.
