Singing... art... language ...anything with a good beat... the 80's... getting to know people from all backgrounds... helping out friends... laughing till I cry... music without words... cuddling... photoshop... driving with the windows down and the stereo blasting... good jeans... hairdos and cool shoes... my pets...and mostly my FABULOUS CHILDREN...
Lately i've been trying to get a hold of old friends... but I'm always interested in making friends with people who share creative interests. (Note: the people on my list are actually my FRIENDS... as in, people i TALK to and share common ground with...i'm no friendwhore nor piece of meat on myspace so don't ask me to add if that's what you're about.)
You are Bettie Page
Girl next door with a wild streak
You're a famous beauty - with unique look
And the people like you are cultish about it
What Famous Pinup Are You?
Well, if it gives you an idea of what i listen to (for you localers), i listen mainly to Mix 96.9 (Chris & Gina in the morning!). You out-of-towners can stream it live at mix969.com so yeah ok. I'm totally an 80's child. But that doesn't mean that's all I like. My tastes are really varied...about the only things i exclude are: speed metal....hardcore rap...really twangy country...otherwise, pretty much anything goes. It's all about the mood I'm in!!!!
oh WOW there's so many... um we'll just hit a few here. Pirates of the Caribbean, Pretty Woman, Van Helsing, Hellboy, When a Man Loves a Woman, the Neverending Story, the Lost Boys, Legend, Big Trouble in Little China, all the Austin Powers movies, Bruce Almighty ..omg i laugh myself silly during the newscaster scene..., Forrest Gump, Daredevil, both Spider-Man movies, Chronicles of Narnia-The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and i know there's more...
honestly? i don't watch it much. When I do watch, it's generally cartoons, with three kidlets in the house.... :) I DO love "Whose Line is it Anyway" as I laugh myself into HYSTERICS....OK and as much as I am loathe to admit it......i do laugh at "Beavis and Butthead"...and "South Park" :)
Hands down, The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe is my favorite book EVER. The movie I was not sure i'd be into... but i loved it! The DaVinci Code absorbed me COMPLETELY. DragonLance series. Where the Red Fern Grows, waaaaah. The Notebook, waaaah. Phantoms by Dean Koontz...WOW did that book give me the creeeeeps...
my sister Sarah...for finding happiness in the face of adversity. my dad... for living and dying HIS way...my kids, who sometimes surprise me with something as small as a look of awe at what we jaded adults consider the "ordinary" (like these "reindeer" i took them to see...telling them "Maybe this is where they rest when Santa's done with them...they were speechless...)
