People that are strong and confident about what they want in life. People that realize that they have a choice in every situation. I am open minded, but have also come to learn that people that don't have a chosen path, create heartache and chaos. Even if the layers of one's life transform, a strong consistent core will always be obvious.In a friend, I want someone present, loyal, open and authentic. In a lover, the basis is friendship, so the same deal goes. The best moment I find in any relationship is when you can sit together in silence and nothing is "wrong". You don't need to have it all figured out. Figuring it all out never occurs in life, but the A-HA! moments (learned that one from Oprah...) are what bring people closer together. I like people that are looking for the AHA! moments. Life is a game that exists in our personal choice. Our interpretations aren't real... or the truth, they are just that... an interpretation of what is so.Let's just have fun with this game of life! You're here. I'm here. Shit happens, gems are to be found. Let's discover, make mistakes, create possibilities, have upsets, get over the upsets and laugh about them.
Mama Cass, Mariah Carey. Caren Carpenter... FIONNA APPLE!!!! I don't love everything she does, but at the same time... I like her fight to be heard. Beyond that, it greatly varies. I love music that makes you feel like a rock star, makes you feel a bit cheesy yet drive just a little bit faster than the speed limit.Milli Vanilli, David Hasselhoff... HA! HA! HA! Just kidding.OK... I love "Blame it on the Rain" Shut up, so do you! But I will never, ever, ever be ashamed of loving "The Sign" by Ace of Base... It opened up my eyes... I saw the sign.
Scary movies. I LOVE horror!!!! Boooo! See, you like it too.Also, 80's movies... they just don't make them like they used to.All Quiet on The Western Front (brilliant silent film), Portrait of Dorian Grey, A Star is Born (1930's), Can't Buy Me Love, Gentelmen Prefer Blondes, Sunset Boulevard, Mildred Pierce, Mommie Dearest, Clash of The Titans, Seven Minutes in Heaven, Back to the Future 1, Party Monster, The Dreamers (NC-17 version), What the BLEEP do we know, Crash, The Eyes of Lara Mars.
I just bought TIVO!!! Wahooo! I never used to watch TV, but now my TIVO ensures that I find new and mind numbing forms of entertainment. That being said, I like the following shows... "King of the Hill". Mixed with a little bit of "Married with Children", "Golden Girls" and the mother of all shows "I love Lucy". My guilty pleasures are of course Oprah, Americas Next Top Model. CSI, Car and Driver, Martha Stewart: Apprentice, Documentaries, E! True Hollywood Story (sometimes...), FAMILY GUY!!!
