My name is Phil and music is my life. I was born in Ontario Canada, and raised in a little town in Texas called Harlingen for 10 years, so I pretty much am a southern boy. I moved up to Bellingham Washington about 8 years ago and graduated highschool at Squalicum High. Being a musician, i've always been a band dork, and will always be! From the age of about 1 and a half, i've pretty much have been playing the drums.
As of 2006, i've parted ways with my previous band of 4 years, The Post Modern, and I have been accepted into a new powerful rock band called The Turn, based out of BC Canada. Eventually one day i'll hit up shows with the guys from the Post again, but until then, i dedicate all my time and effort to my new project. We all have big plans to be famous and pompous rock stars!! Ok so maybe not pompous but we're sure as hell, gunna be Famous ones!!
Currently, i have a 7 peice Pearl Export Series Drum set (5 toms, one snare, one bass drum), 10 cymbals all Zildjian, one small and one large Jam Block and a Cowbell from LP Percussion, a Pearl 3-sided Icon Drum Rack, and a DW 5002 Double Kick Pedal. I use all Evans heads (G2 Genra for toms, ST Super Dry/Super Tough for Snare batter side, hazy snare side, EQ4 Bass Drum Batter and Evans Resonant Head) I use Promark 5A American Hickory wood tip sticks.
