We, the Undersigned Inteview HARDTIMES.CA
Grab your ankles and clench your sphincters, Canada, for metal outfit We, the Undersigned are making the plunge! Taking their relentless crusade deeper into our land's bowels than ever before, the WHBITU Cross-NATION Tour commences late March 2009, and reunites WTU with Montreal-based freakfest What's He Building In There? on their quest for the Pacific, pillaging and foraging where need be. Within its range, this musical coupling will tantalize every auditory nerve into a sensuous pulp, and be sure to leave you wanting more!
Calling Fredericton, NB their home, We, the Undersigned's music has been deemed "rousing, high energy and delightfully gritty" (Nightwaves Online Zine). An interwoven mesh of metal and rock, this music boasts ass-flogging guitars, haemorrhage inducing rhythms, and soaring vocals, leaving a delicious whiplash-induced numbness in your neck.
After a dry and uncertain summer, the morale of We, the Undersigned was rejuvenated upon the discovery of Andy Stevens, the former guitarist for I am Error. With a key role filled and a rucksack of new original material, the boys were ready to re-conquer the upper and lower Canadas, along with the Eastern provinces, in their third major tour, which ran throughout the month of October 2008 with What's He Building in There?, whose music can be best described as pureed mayhem basted in wonderment.
We, the Undersigned were honoured having played the first heavy-metal showcase at the 2008 East-Coast Music Awards, along with other established New Brunswick rockers, such as "Iron Giant" and "Orchid's Curse". Other bands with whom We, the Undersigned are grateful to have played alongside include Protest the Hero, Fuck The Facts, I Hate Sally, Cancer Bats, and The End.
