About Me

Cathey Stamps is a songwriter, producer and the percussion player of choice for artists across the eastern half of the U.S. including Kristy Lee, Halcyon, Jen Foster, Lindsay Hinkle, Kristi Neumann, and Jonell Mosser among many more too numerous to mention. She is part of the infamous musical collective Girls with Guitars which boasts Mary Gauthier, Mindy Smith and Kimberley Dahme (of the rock group Boston) as alumni. Stamps is currently slated to produce a project for Chicago artist Dennis Boboc and is the host and entertainment director for the Sunday Night Music Special at the Lipstick Lounge in Nashville, TN. She is a founder of ME2 Productions (along with Stephanie Callahan and Kathy Mac), a company that released it's first compilation disc in 2005 featuring 19 indie female artists across multiple genres. Her rock band Love Truck has just finished the mixes for it's initial offering on No Deal Records scheduled for release in late spring 2006. Stamps also has a solo CD "Demo Deluxe" which features a number of Nashville musical luminaries performing her songs. The CD includes the seminal song "Voodoo Doll" in an arrangement that is stripped down to just her vocals and percussion. In addition, Stamps writes music articles and reviews for the Church Street Freedom Press in Nashville. In her spare time she works for comfortable fashion and world peace.
