I'd like to meet:

Probably editors, cinematographers and directors in the film industry. I dig Michael Mann for his atmospheric style, with his ability to make everything a character in his movies, even the background. I am also a huge fan of Sophie Mueller, IMHO the best music video director- she edits to the beat, with the style and theme of video servicing the song instead of the artist's ego. Definitely like to pick her brain.

Music:

Anything except country, though I was oddly entertained by Toby Keith at Live 8.

Movies:

Serenity (man, you people slept on that one), Star Wars (original thankyouverymuch), Die Hard, Apocalypse Now, The Abyss, damn near any Michael Mann movie

Television:

24, Lost, Battlestar Galactica (don't sleep on it), The West Wing, House, X Play

Books:

Tom Clancy nut (the Jack Ryan books, not that other shit)

Heroes:

Family and friends, who else?
