I was born the seventh of eight children in Greenwood, SC. As a child, I was always rather shy and somewhat of a book-worm. During this time, I was writing poetry surrounding topics related to me. A lot of the poems were used by classmates to pick up middle-school sweethearts (leaving me out, of course). Because of the fact that I really enjoyed using my expressive writings, I was motivated to build upon my ability to do so. I eventually translated my thoughts into musical content (writing and producing).My first musical credits came when I wrote lyrics for a Tennessee-based, contemporary gospel group called Brotherly Love. During the time of that rewarding experience, I began working on new material....some of which are featured on my Compassion project. This project is available for purchase directly from this page (by clicking the thumbnail image above) and on iTunes...I feel that the musical content of Compassion will touch listeners in ways in which they are able to reflect on their own personal experiences.
