Rein Sanction

We formed as a band when Mark was 14, I (Brannon) was 12 and Ian was 13, we lived down the street from Ian and his brother... I heard U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday on the radio. I went home and asked my folks for a snare drum that day. I also asked them to buy Mark a guitar. Mark played guitar, Ian played bass and I played drums. We jammed some cover tunes, made some of our own songs and played parties for 6 years or so until we recorded or 1st LP. In 1989 We recorded at Mirror Image Studios in Gainsville Florida with Bob McPeek using 2 tracks of the 24 tracks available. Leslie Wood (a dear and beautiful friend now with God) helped us press 100 copies on W'SUP Records here in Jacksonville. We recorded our next LP at Mirror Image. Broc's Cabin was released on Sub Pop records in March of 1991. Sub Pop pressed limited LP's, tapes and CD's. We also released a 7" single with Sub Pop in February of 1991. Our third LP called Mariposa was recorded by Jack Endino and was released on Sub Pop records in August of 1992. Limited vinyl LP's, tapes and CD's, We also did a 7" single for Sub Pop in July of 1992. A video was made for Every Color by Sub Pop. Our 4th record back in 1994. We had Daren Bedford on bass and Scott Whittier for the production and engineering. A 7" single which was released in 2006 on Flotation Records. There were 100 copies pressed on GREEN vinyl and 400 copies pressed on BLACK vinyl.We should also mention that Jon Ackerman was in the band playing bass around the late 80's and early 90's.
