About Me

Stripping rock’n’roll to its most basic frame, Richie, Brent and original bassist Graham emerged from the garage in 1990 — you guessed it — without a singer — and immediately put out its first product, a 6-song cassette. Shortly after, the band turned the ear of garage guru and Estrus principle Dave Crider who commited the group’s tunes to vinyl. An album release on Seattle's C/Z followed, then it was over to Mint. "Dig In" came out in 1995, and its "Rockin' in the Henhouse" video was knighted "Best Independent Video" by MuchMusic. "Get Outta Dodge" was released in 1997, and featured new bassist Tommy Kennedy. Videos blew out the door too, no fewer than three: the title track, "Shadow of the Apache," and "What a Way to Run a Railroad." The latter song was also featured when the band co-starred with Hawaiian Love-God Don Ho in a Canadian beer commercial. "Muerte Del Toro" came out in 2000, and celebrated the band's 10th birthday! Now they are back! with the new band: THE HIDDEN CHARMS! with all three Original members!
