About Me

Hey Folks, so first and for most i am a Country Music fan. To me country music taps into every emotion... it is listening to the "Gambler" and being brought back to having a sing song in my dad's car, it is never being disappointed when you catch a live performance of a country artist because you are always guarenteed a hell of a time! Country Music can make you feel sad, angry, happy and patriotic, it makes you feel connected. Whether it is Montgomery Gentry singing "My Town" and it makes you feel tremendous pride of where you come from, or it is Alan Jackson singing "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" and after a long stressful week you hang on every word, or maybe it is Keith Urban singing "You'll Think of Me" and it makes you feel a little less alone after a terrible breakup.... Basically it just makes you feel alive. That being said it is obvious i am a huge country music fan...lol.. problem is I grew up in nyc and now live in long island, and we do not have country radio in these parts, therefore most of the country artists don't make it over the bridge! They come as far as parts of NJ and CT. Recently we were lucky enough to have a few country acts at Madison Square Garden, which were all sold out by the way! so I would say there is a market here, but you have to have made it to the big time at that point. I want to see Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Jason Michael Carroll, Crossin Dixon, Eric Church, etc.Just makes no sense the most diverse city in the nation, has every genre of music but Country! Anyhoo, this has been bothering me for years, so i decided to talk to cyber space!..lol...as all my letters and e-mails were not returned. After reseraching options for a website to focus on promoting country music and the need for country radio back to NYC, i also started researching the idea of Podcast's for local country musicians it hit me! why should i just focus on local country musicians, it is cyber space after all...LOL... why not use the website as a forum for all Unsigned Country Musicians all across the USA!, they deserve to have their music heard! Hey if they refuse to bring us country radio we have to take matters into our own hands! So bascially if you love Country Music or you are a Country Musican and support the need for country music, country radio and intersted in the idea of having your music heard through a podcast all over cyberspace! or heck even if you are just nosey!!!.
