Singer-Song writer and seasoned performer, Chris Lizzi was born in New York and started playing music at the age of 4 years old. From playing the Piano, to drums, to Violin, to Trumpet, to Harmonica, to Mandolin, to Bass guitar, and then to the Acoustic guitar that his step father David Louise who introduced a few techniques to get him started. Chris has been writing songs since. He came from a very musical family. His father Mike Lizzi, who started Chris on drums, was a drummer in many cover bands and mother, the former Deborah Lizzi, now Deborah Louise who was a singer and still sings a few times with Chris during his performances. Chris grew up in the music industry performing in different venues ranging from volunteer work, several benefits, bars, clubs, colleges, schools, fun filled house parties, ect.., and has worked with several professional bands throughout New York State. Early in 2003 the opportunity presented itself to allow Chris to start his own band. Chris had to break from traditional "Cover Bands" in order to introduce a fresh style of music. Fans are calling it BAZROP and Frat house Jam. Along with special guest appearances from local musicians such as kinyatta King who enjoyed Chris' music and started performing with him at many local venues. Kinyatta King is the son of legendary bass player and composer Gary King. Kinyatta Joined with Chris Lizzi in 2006 after being in several established bands where he grew up and in the Central New York area. Kinyatta grew up in the music industry and does it all including co-founding and being Vice President of a not for profit Zimbabwe aids orphans foundation. When you hear him play, you can tell he has the ability to take over when it’s his turn no matter what style or audience. He has been playing drums, piano, and writing songs since the age of 3. Kinyatta's natural abilities and music industry experience have allowed him to pursue choice projects. Performing with Chris Lizzi allows Kinyatta to develop his own sound and join in on the spotlight along with Chris, who strives to do it all together for the long road ahead. Chris Lizzi has an impressive original mix of Rock, Pop, Jazz & Blues, all blended together into a melodic acoustical sound. With his passion for music, he will definitely give you sights and amazing sounds you won't ever forget.
