About Me

Tom Barnes has over 10 years experience performing both locally & state wide with his own distinct sound & energizing stage presence.  Playing thousands of shows with well known bands such as Nanny’s Paddle and Burma, Tom’s solo acoustic act and his current band, The 21st Century Cowboys, have been entertaining Syracuse’s finest bars & restaurants for the past 6 years.  Earning regular spots at The Dinosaur BBQ, Coleman’s, Pooch’s, and The Blue Water Grill, to name a few, Tom has shown the diversity of his talent in entertaining all types of crowds.    A Tom Barnes acoustic show involves much more than your average entertainer.  Tom is well known for his electrifying stamina, many nights performing up to 75 songs without taking a set break.  Using new technology, Tom has perfected the art of simultaneously looping live guitar licks to create a room full of music. This always generates curiosity & great energy among patrons as he will many times build up his sound to interconnect three to four guitar tracks at once.
