I'm dropping out for a bit.. I'll be back when I have grown spiritually like I want and need to, and when I've finished writing what I started over twelve years ago for myself and you. Be well all, and I'll be back. I will not be online for awhile so please don't think that I'm not communicating to/with you for a lack of interest...
Be well and much love,
Peter

Represented in the Apollo 13 emblem is Apollo, the sun god of Greek mythology, symbolizing how the Apollo flights have extended the light of knowledge to all mankind. The Latin phrase Ex Luna, Scientia means "From the Moon, Knowledge"-taken from www.nasa.gov.I was born during the full Moon on Earth Day in 1970, eight days after the picture below was taken aboard the Apollo 13 command module. This craft along with its precious cargo, was in the hearts and prayers of everyone watching as it lost oxygen 200,000 miles from the Earth due to an explosion. The mission of landing on the Moon was scrubbed and the crippled craft had to be re-navigated around the dark side of the Moon and back safely to Earth. I can only imagine how the world was in those few days, and yet I feel I know what was happening on the Earth and Moon. I'm sure through the power of intention/meditation/prayer the human, Luna and Gaia spirits/energies were elevated for the safe return of our brothers as they ventured out into the vastness of space. There is a huge lesson in this event. What is it? You already know.
When I was a year old I went to Sri Lanka, and there I danced on the dinner table. At nine I had a telescope. At 14, I saw my first of many U.F.Os. I dream music, make it, live it. Alcyone is my favorite Goa-trance track(below). My Roland Juno 60 and 106 rock! Dragonfly's land on me. For pleasure I'm writing a screenplay. It's a positive inspirational film about/for our evolution. I'm looking forward to hearing the soundtrack.
Some thoughts on music. There is, was, and forever will be music. With this in play, Yes and Infinity(8) will do I'm sure. When I was little I had an AM radio that I would listen to in bed. There I would listen to a multitude of AM (amplitude modulation) transmissions. Some were the latest 70's hits and some were the oldies of yesteryear. Some were the t.v. shows my parents were watching downstairs. When I was in sixth grade I was asked if I wanted to play in the school band and of course I said yes. I decided that it was my destiny to play the Simmons electric drums set. Well, that destiny will happen soon I hope. To many drummers all ready in the band I was told, so instead I got a saxophone. I appreciated it immensely, the reed of wood, the brass and breath. It wasn't the sound I was really into at the time though. I was into "early/new" "synth-pop". My Gary Newman tape was getting worn out along with my brother playing his Devo tape. Also my father would put on the beautiful and inspiring radio show "Music from the Hearts of Space" and our family would listen on Sunday nights. Simply beautiful. Through this show I was thankfully exposed in my youth to The Art of Noise, Vangelis, Marc Isham, Brian Eno, Kitaro, Tangerine Dream and countless others. My dad would tape the shows and we would listen to them again... Really I love so many types of music. Bach, Mozart, trance, ambient, house, breaks, drum n bass, rock, oldies, the slide guitar, Spanish guitar, 80's music, funk, tribal and "world" music. The sound of the refrigerator and the crickets buzzing together on hot summer nights... At the age of 20 in 1990 I became a dj playing alternative/industrial/goth stuff. Perhaps I'll write a common play list for those nights back then at X and for old times sake I'd like to play one night for 8 hours at least, and record the set. I became a Raver in '91 and soon after with some dear friends we; the Braifroot crew, began throwing parties along with going to so many amazing ones. As a dj the early 90s, acid/trance/techno/chill-out were my staples. Then goa/psychedelic trance kicked in for me. I love hearing new music and great djs who spin phenomenal sets. And a huge thanks goes out to the other quality musicians out there who push us further into the sound...more to come~~~
The film I'm writing, soon to be perhaps the most important film of our time. Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, Fantasia, Star Trek, E.T, Quest For Fire, Sharkwater(docu), Amadeus, Donnie Darko, Big Fish, Dances With Wolves, Hidalgo, Whale Rider, Sex and lucia, The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen, WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR, Blood Diamond
tell-a-vision: here's some good stuff- Grizzly Adams, The Munsters,The Andy Griffith Show, Ranger Bob, Charlie Rose, Wild Kingdom, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Star Trek, In Search Of, Original MTV-back in the day! great soccer games (though I'd much rather be playing), This Old House, The Muppet Show, and good documentaries on people like Nikola Tesla, for example.
