The Huckin’ Fillbillys

IT'S A FUCKING PARTY, 24-7!!!

About Me

10 YEAR-OLD KODY McCREARY JAMMING AC/DC's "HIGHWAY TO HELL" WITH THE HUCKIN' FILLBILLYS @ THE WEDGE IN AUSTINTOWN, OHIO
The Huckin’ Fillbillys, formed in the spring of 2005, are a rock-n-roll band from Northeast Ohio that stemmed from the popular, early 90's hard-rock band, Lazarus. The guys from Lazarus wanted to do a side project that was light-hearted and fun. The wheels were set into motion to put together a “red-necked themed” band of 5 good-ole-boys, uneducated, very patriotic, and musically raw and powerful.
The Huckin’ Fillbillys are comprised of 5 members: Elvis McCoy (Jimmi Miglozzi) on lead vocals, Cletus Moon (Ronnie Williams) on lead guitar and backing vocals, Edsel McGillis (Garry Palcisco) on bass and backing vocals, Tater Jenkins (Dustin Isaac) on drums and Jerry Lee Hatfield (Walt Stec) on rythym guitar & keyboards.
The band’s members are veterans of the Northeast Ohio music scene. As previously stated, Ronnie, Jimmi, and Garry all come from the popular hard rock band, Lazarus. Walt played bass for a Godsmack/Alice In Chains tribute band, Smack Alice, The Glorystompers & Himself and Dustin Isaac was the former drummer for the Akron, Ohio based Guns-N-Roses tribute band, Appetite for Destruction and The JAK Band.
The Huckin’ Fillbillys’ magic lies in their live performances. The band pulls out all the stops when it comes to playing! Elvis McCoy really knows how to get the house-a-rockin' while Cletus Moon, though somewhat "seems" quiet and laid-back, is truly the melody of the band. Rev. Jerry Lee adds the spice and flavor to the music with his style of playing while Edsel McGillis and Tater Jenkins lay down the thunder!!!
Many of The Huckin’ Fillbillys’ influences shine through in their music. The bands that influenced The Huckin’ Fillbillys the most are pre-sobriety Aerosmith, Motley Crue, AC/DC, and anything that kicks their collective asses!
The equipment Cletus Moon abuses is his one-and-only Kramer Explorer-style guitar, through a 100watt B-52 VT-100 guitar head & 4X12. See pictures of him in action on the B-52 website!!! ; Edsel McGillis slams his Warwick bass guitars & POD Pro Bass Amplification. (Edsel McGillis a.k.a Garry Palcisco, is sponsored by Warwick), Rev. Jerry Lee Hatfield plays Gibson Les Paul guitars & KORG and MOOG synthesizers, and Tater Jenkins slams his own brand of "custom" drumz. Elvis uses Audio-Techniques wireless microphone technology.
The Huckin’ Fillbillys genuinely enjoy playing great music and watching the people who come to see them have the time of their lives! When you come to a Huckin’ Fillbillys show, you become part of the festivities! It’s your party…The Huckin' Fillbillys are just your gracious hosts!
Check the dates above to see when The Huckin' Fillbillys are in your neck of the woods!!!

Sounds Like: AC/DC on a whiskey bender while playing "Rock In A Hard Place" era, cocaine & heroin-addicted AEROSMITH through a mountain of MESA-BOOGIES on a Saturday night, in the heat of the summer with a midnight outdoor temperature of 104 degrees, as tornado warnings and air-raid sirens wail away at a dive bar with 500 of their closest drug-addled-alcoholic friends, singing along as RONNIE VAN ZANT and ZZ-TOP join the boys for a rendition of FREE BIRD as THE RAMONES would've play it but tuned to "drop-B" and 120 BPM as scantily clad women, mud wrestle and clean-up with a wet t-shirt contest where everybody wins and even the slow, fat kid sitting in the corner with the "Spice Girls" t-shirt gets a blowjob. . .

OR

absolute shit, depending on how many lines, beers and/or shots we've done.
