About Me

Cardboard Cowboy have hung up their spurs. Starting out as a side project for the first year or so, things got a bit more serious after that (don’t try and pin me down to dates here) when mark and pat joined the band. CC quickly earned a fantastic reputation for their live shows which would generally feature our dancing drummer swigging liberally from a bottle of red wine, playing the ceiling and whatever else was around whilst pat would leap off his piano stool and bang the keys like they were kettle drums.
CC released two critically acclaimed albums, played the 2005 Leeds festival, played a string of dates in the US and shedloads of UK gigs.
Thanks to everyone who supported us and enjoyed us over the years - we had a hell of a ride. Anyone who was at our launch gig for ’shorthand for love’ will know something very special happened that night and it was, quite frankly, the most incredible audience reaction we’ve ever known.
’Shorthand For Love’ is available on itunes and ’Unload Your Head’ will follow shortly.
