Simone has been a prolific writer since the age of eight. At the age of eleven she had her first published work. While a student in Junior High School, she was inspired by one of her English teachers to take her writing to new levels. Since then, Simone has written numerous poems and short stories, and has published her first volume of poetry, When Words Become Ammo, which was released July of 2005 under her own Publishing Company, S.E.A.
