Reading, watching movies that don't suck, listening to music that doesn't suck, playing with my kiddo, taking long aimless drives at night. I like going to Cafe Coco every now and again for some good old fashion discussion & debate, but I really don't get out much. I absolutely abhor TV, so don't ever ask me if I've seen that one character do that one thing on that one show 'cause it's going to be a big negative.
Who ever wants to take the time.
I'm rather eclectic in my musical tastes, so bear with me: Dave Matthews Band, Ani DiFranco, Bare Naked Ladies, They Might Be Giants, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Ben Folds, Johnny Cash, Stone Temple Pilots, Weezer, Acid Bath, David Gray, Squirel Nut Zippers, System of a Down, Group X. I also like to listen to opera. "Carmen" by Bizet and "Porgy & Bess" by the Gershwin brothers are my favourites.
Se7en, 13 Monkeys, Silence of the Lambs (noticing a trend?), Armageddon (even though I don't think I've ever seen a movie with so many mistakes before or since), La Citie du Enfants Perdue, Cemetary Man, Braveheart, Shrek, Lilo & Stitch, Equilibrium, Some Like it Hot, Citizen Cain, Full Metal Jacket, Donnie Darko, both Toy Story's, The Village, Saving Private Ryan, Casablanca.
Television is the work of the devil. As is Microsoft.
Wow, this is going to be a long one... Silence of the Lambs, The Red Dragon, A Clockwork Orange, 1984, Brave New World, The Divine Comedy, Crime & Punishment, The Grapes of Wrath, anything by Poe, anything by Neil Gaiman, Mein Kampf (no, I'm not racist, just found it interesting to see inside such a fucked up mind), Schindler's List, and they'll be more later... Ok, here's some more... Survivor Choke and Fight Club, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Night, Of Love and Other Demons, Gone with the Wind, Lord of the Flies, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Most of Stephen King's work, Lenore, Catch-22, All Quiet on the Western Front, The Satanic Bible (again with the fuckedupedness), The Bible (one of the greatest mythologies of all time), Anything Shakespeare especially tragedies like Hamlet and Othello, Heart of Darkness, The Count of Monte Cristo, Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Oedipus Rex trilogy, Scary Stories series, Lolita and other works of Vladimir Nabokov. There are tons more, but if I make this much longer, no one will actually read it.
I'm going to be cheesy here and say my grandfather.
