My life centers around a few key imperatives.. Living a conscious, healthy lifestyle internally and externally; Attaining knowledge in all aspects of human understanding, growth and potential; Meeting inspirational people with something to teach me; And traveling as much as possible! After spending much time in the jungles of an eco-village in Costa Rica, I've returned forever transformed; more open to the moment and its infinite possibilities, more aware of my habits and patterns, and much more health "conscious". It's not simply a lifestyle for me, but my misson. To inform as many people as I can of the truth about their health and their conscious potential. I also run the website HOLSTICANSWERS.ORG so please go and check it out!
My mind has always seemed to branch off into so (too?) many passions. Finally all of these branches have found it's root! AH! At last! I spend my days practicing a yoga and mostly-raw diet lifestyle, reading books, and writing. My current project is facilitating fully self-sustained spiritual eco-communities. If anyone is interested in learning or sharing info about eco-villages then please contact me. I will gladly correspond.
After going through a major transformation in the village of Pachamama I realized very clearly the only way for an "awakening of the masses" to happen is for each and every one of us to feel comfortable with the journey of self-discovery, awareness and finding our true nature all for ourselves, and by ourselves, only. One by one. There is no amount of reading Eckhart Tolle that is going to bring that kind of sincere awareness in each individual. That movement is empty if there is no real journey that starts thereafter. People must dive deep into themselves without holding anything back in a safe environment. And what better way to do this than in an eco-community. I love the quote.. "BE the change you would like to see in the world." Let's surpass this madness in the world and lead by example!
Life exudes purpose with every beautifully synchronized moment. A lost ego, attained innocence and purity exists in my awoken heart, while at the same time my scientific mind plays an integral role in my life philosophies. A Holistic Integration. Simple and ordinary, yet so full of power and purpose. The world seems so often to be one of opposites. This AND that, not this OR that. This is where I rest. Between science and divinity, feminine and masculine, silence and celebration, life and death, conscious and subconscious, logical and illogical, Plato & Aristotle. An integration of the conflict between Man and God. I find the most fulfilling thing to me is having the ability to conceive reality.. Not exactly see it, but come to some understanding of life's obscure potentialities. This is why I make the pursuit of Knowledge my pursuit of Happiness.
I read TONS of books yet seem to buy so many more than I could ever read. Topics mainly of natural health, philosophy, conscious evolution, spirituality, and travel. TRAVEL is what always excites and uplifts me yet keeps me humble and grounded. I've been lucky enough to have already seen over 20 different countries in the past few years and I'm nowhere near done! Next is India, Africa, Peru and Argentina!
"It’s not that we need to form new organizations. It's simply that we have to awaken to new ways of thinking. I believe it makes no sense to spend a lot of time attacking the current realities. It is time to create the new models that have in them the complexity that makes the older systems obsolete. And to the extent that we can do that, and do that quickly, I think we can provide what will be necessary for a major breakthrough for the future." ~ Dr. Don Beck, on Spiral Dynamics
MY LECTURE AT FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY:
My village Pachamama...
My quotes...
"When we take risks in life and they work out to our benefit, we feel this sense of accomplishment and self worth. It feels nice, like a caffeine buzz or something, but still empty. We don't need that to be happy. The best things in life are not only free, they don't require much thought or risk…" –Amber Mekush
"Anyone can specialize in just one thing and become great at it. Eventually it becomes easy and natural to them, no further effort required to expand their conscious potential. What is more evolved to me is one who tries many different things. Always putting themselves into unfamiliar territory, and always learning about life from a variety of viewpoints. Having more than one identity allows us to be less attached to any one in particular. Therefore more open to any truth this world can show us." –Amber Mekush
"It is certainly commendable to find a descent and good purpose and live for it, yet it is a step above to not identify yourself with that purpose so much that it prevents you from reaching further, seeing beyond it, from evolving, changing your mind and opinions, to being truly open. It is not likely that we can "know truth" at one point in our lives especially early on. Instead, a better higher purpose, a more inexhaustible, limitless, creative approach is to question with boldness even your own ideas and everything you come into contact with, and to always be open to new ideas. Then one moves through life easier with the realization of sameness. Awareness allows morals to come from a simple place. When morals come from a deep awareness, there is no longer a conflict of the self…" –Amber Mekush, the divine

I'd like to meet:

People with a sense of reality, a passion for life and knowledge seeking, and those with a certain level of awareness. Love meeting people with something to teach me. Yeah, I'm pretty selfish that way.. :)

IF you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;

If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

And never breathe a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,

if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
