Danielle was born in Cape Town South Africa and started singing at an early age performing In the Hit Musical Evita at the Age of 10. Danielle soon started to identify strongly with her middle eastern roots and world beat rythms , at the age of 15 She started singing in Spanish in a Latino/Pop Cover Band NUEVO NA MEXICANA, a year later confident in singing in Spanish she auditioned for a very big 10 piece Afro Cuban band called SALSA CANDELA and got the job as their lead female vocalist. It was not only the sounds of distant continents that inspired this fusion act, Her Home South Africa had a strong influence in her creative process. Having had the opportunity to perform and collaborate with great musicians from all over South Africa; Mozambique and the Congo. Such as The Darrel Andrews Band (Darrel Andrews, The Head of University of Cape Towns Jazz Department) She seized the opportunity to explore the jazz world! The Band performed jazz standards and old school funk songs at the hottest jazz venues in town. The song hit the Good Hope Fm Airwaves and she was invited to perform at the annual Fanta Phat Jam - a charity concert at the Bellville Veledrome performing alongside South Africa’s Best Artists, TKZ, Loyiso and Daune for 6000 screaming teenagers.DANIELLE POP

Knowing that she would return to music in the not so distant future. After her High School Graduation Danielle Headed to London on her own to try and find better opportunities. She started working with Sugar Reef Records co writing and recording.Danielle Took some time off to travel Europe her next Inspiration came in the summer of 2003 Whilst in IBIZA. Meeting one of the most influential people on the Island Danielle was offered to sing at the famous Caf Del Mar and Savannah Bar. Collaborating with Dj’s Busking and creating melodic vocals over house music.Danielle returned to London and was writing and recording and working on her original sound but was drawn to the west end and still had a burning passion to do live theatre. She signed up with a new agent who got her an audition for a big TBS (US CABLE TV) Movie She was so petrified before her audition because this was her first film audition ever. She got the part acting in this American film for TBS (cable TV). RED WATER Directed by Charlie Carner. She played a swimmer, Rashaune, who was involved in a shark attack scene and loses her best friend. The movie has been one of TBSs feature films of the year and went out to 20 million viewers in the United States. It Boasted a cast of big Hollywood names such as; Lou Diamond Phillips, Kirsty Swanson and Coolio. Soon After that she was featured in STARS OF MADEIRA A period piece film, Filmed for Germany, She plays RosaSoon After Danielle completed a 5 month contract singing on Costa Cruiselines , she flew to Vegas for the New York International Music Festival, and won the Showcase prize of a record deal and Tour, still unsure of which path she wanted to take Danielle Moved to LA to pursue her dreams and search for better opportunities. She studied at the Tom Todoroff Acting School in Santa Monica, She formed her own Brazilian Band “Brazileira” and performed at up market venues in Beverly Hills.
