PxOxMxIxVx is a goregrind band that formed in 2003 in Boise, Idaho. It all started as a one man band to keep myself occupied after the demise of several of my other bands. After the release of the s/t CDr I enlisted the help of 5 of my friends (Icy Mike, Gorthoron, Insectasaur, Anencephalic Vagina, and Phantasmagorist) to help out. From this, the second CDr was born. After the Collection...CDr I went solo again for the DFD CDr. At this point several people seemed interested in the band, including other bands and some labels. Even Rob, the totally kick ass fellow who runs Vomit Noise Productions was interested in working with me. Things fell apart though. At this point I decided to put the GRF CDr together. It is a concept idea I had been kicking around since before the first Cdr. I again enlisted the help of 2 friends (Icy Mike and Gorthoron) from the second CDr to pull it off. By this point I had been playing in some other bands with Icy Mike, so he became a full member of Pile due to our like-minded views on music. Icy and have have just finished three new recordings: a new CDr (with the help of super-pal Captain Cholera), a split with Hummingbird of Death, and a 76 song CDrep. These are out now.
