Kill Moe Dee (the maniac formerly Scabby Sammy_ and Doctor Butcher formed Your Kid’s on Fire circa 1996, originally intended as a two man studio project, but they soon enlisted their friend the Ultimo Manipulator of the Zodiac 2000 Murders as drummer. Kill Moe Dee began writing songs as they sought additional personnel. Potential members were enlisted and discharged over the years until YKOF found a stable line-up in 2000 (including Masked Jackal), rehearsing songs such as “YKOF 4 Life,†“Relentless Hunger…,†“Lesiban Necro Sluts,†and “Blood-Spattered Drill Bit Death.†They finally obtained a rehearsal room in 2001 and spent the next couple years on songs new and old, primarily written by Kill Moe Dee. In 2003, they played a handful of shows which were poorly attended and disappointing. The year ended with the band on hiatus. In mid-2004, they resumed at a new rehearsal room with the line-up which would record the Aught Six: A Necrodyssey album. They spent a year getting back in practice with the older songs and adding a few more. There was a brief attempt to go back to playing live, which was quickly aborted after two shows with no better results than the ill-fated attempts in 2003.
In June 2005, after almost ten years of revolving door line-ups, YKOF recorded the first half of Necrodyssey at Underground Studio. They sent the songs to a couple of friends, including Will Rahmer of Mortician, who wanted to release it on his label Redrum Records. YKOF returned to Underground in December to record the second half of the album and Aught Six: A Necrodyssey was released through Redrum a few months later. There was a split among some of the band members, and Kill Moe Dee and Doctor Butcher continued YKOF as a two-piece. On November 11, 2006, they returned to Underground Studio to record fourteen songs + outro, nineteen minutes; much heavier, faster, and crazier than Aught Six: A Necrodyssey.
There was a recording in 2007 entitled Audio Nasties, which they recorded at a different place. YKOF was underwhelmed by the production effort on this one, engineered by a fag who shall remain nameless.
In 2008 Masked Jackal returned to the horde, but exited just prior to a recording begun in October and finished in December. Once again, all the musick was recorded by Kill Moe Dee and Dr. Butcher at Underground Recording Studio, engineered by Madman Matt Lincoln. The new material was 17 songs + outro, almost 40 minutes. The songs wasted on the Audio Nasties abortion were resurrected here, along with some new songs and covers. This will be combined with the Nov 2006 recording and released as a new full-length entitled Chainsaw Devil on Haunted Hotel Records in the very near future.
Another full-length--Horrorcaust--is on the gore-izon. Tracks will include: "K-Town Beat Down," "The Nights of Terror," "Brundlefly," "I Warned You Not to Go Out Tonight," "Last Cannibal World," and many other bad jams.
