social change. oppression of the oppressors. making movies, docs and media tools. getting sucked into conspiracy theories.interests. hmmm. but there are so many, i feel like there are none. i like fishing. but i haven't been since i was 22. i like walking backwards. but i never get the time to do so. i would love to go canoeing soon too. and then of course jump into the lake and swim down to the bottom in search of some turtles. you know the big ones, the kind that form weird shadows that we used to be scared of when were little. i think lately i have been fascinated with physical tests administered by men in uniforms.
I'd like to meet:
someone who will distribute my films. (still true) and then someone who will fund the new ones(still true). but i will be happy with one out of two. who else? anyone and if i dont like you, you'll know. (ok we can scratch the last line, it sounds well you know, pretentious)i would like to meet you. i like people, heck i love people. i am a people person. there is something really great about people. they talk back. they have opinions. they can draw, they can write, they can sculpt, they can create, they can discuss, they can debate, they can do so many wonderful things. how can you not just like people. so people come on. let's celebrate being people. smile and go hug someone. it will make their day and who knows, maybe even yours.

movies. damn it, another one of those. WTF mate. how about the never ending story, chitty chitty bang bang, heavenly creatures, croupier, anything with God in the title, movies with guns and women. and yes that even means Hal Hartley's akwardly paced but yet still very interesting movie 'Amateur'. i hate naming favorites. so dont ask. although i did like Zero Effect a lot 8 yrs ago. and i even like some of the ones i have made with friends. but here is little list: city of God, city of lost children, the apartment, some like it hot, chinatown, manchurian candidate (old and new), things by spike lee, i will come back to this.
