About Me

let's see, we started the band in 1990 and still continue to play today because it's all we know how to do (outside of our day jobs which we have to keep because we're not known for writing radio friendly poop - although we did have some stuff on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Six Feet Under - very odd...)

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: coinmonster.com
Band Members: David Galazia - Drums / Vocals
Rick Stoner - Bass / Keys
Jon Reider - Guitar / Vocals
Influences: the Police, Frank Zappa, Queen, Elton John, NoMeansNo, Steely Dan, Deep Purple, MUSE, VOIVOD, Slayer, Mastodon, Kyuss, Clutch, Christmas Music, Beach Boys, Beatles, Bungle, Allan Holdsworth, Vince Gueraldi, anything from the 50's and 60's and a good portion of the 70's, just about anything really.
Sounds Like: been compared to every band at one point in time or another, but it's usually Helmet, Primus, or Mr Bungle. From time to time there's a Primus / Bungle ripoff accusation, but what most folks don't know is that no one around us, including ourselves, even had a clue who any of these bands were in 1989/1990. Then again, if you can't name one band that another band sounds like, then something isn't right.
