About Me

Create or get your
very own MySpace LayoutsMy parents had me later in life. I am the youngest of five and the only girl. There wasn't a lot of kids to play with in the East Hill neighborhood I grew up in, but I did have the Hartleys thank goodness. Eight kids and never a dull moment. My Mom use to jokingly call me "Andrea Hartley."My life has had many chapters, like anyone else. Besides Pensacola, I've lived in Boulder, Philadelphia, and now Pittsburgh. I've made many friends that have come and gone, but have kept the truly special and unique ones(KRISTEN BALA and SHELLEY YATES,to name a few.)I've always gravitated to social jobs, especially if there was food and libations involved! The few corporate jobs I had sucked. Everyone had to have a meeting about the dumbest shit and no one would ever take accountability for anything(unless ofcourse it was for an idea that wasn't theirs in the first place!)I was a flight attendant too. I loved flying for free and took full advantage visiting my family and friends as much as I could. This is the job that eventually led me to my husband, a complex, creative, driven, dark humored, wonderful man. We balance each other and value our time together. Recently, with the help of generous and amazing people, he was able to see one of his lifelong dreams fulfilled(opening a state of the art movie studio and grip/lighting company.) Batpack Studios and The GaffHouse opened in November and are a producer and director's dream. One stop shop and top of the line. I think it's going to be a crazy, interesting year. On top of all this, we have been dealing with my Mother in law's declining health and my Father's passing on Dec.12th. They have both been life changing and eye opening experiences.
