About Me

For those who don't know me, I am a musician in the Boston area.
From 1996-2006 I was involved with two really amazing musical projects called maudlin of the Well and Kayo Dot of which I am very proud of helping to found and take part in.
Right now I am currently taking time to focus on other aspects of my musical life, namely my solo project which is called Baliset.
I am somewhat of a metalhead with a deep apprecation of many types of music and artists.
I live a very spartan-like existence in Somerville currently while I figure out my next step.

My Interests

making music

I'd like to meet:

Right now, I am interested in meeting other artists of various types for various collarborations. I have some time on my hands and I would like to spend it enriching myself and exploring new areas artistically.

Music:

iron maiden, dysrhythmia, behold...the arctopus, dave dill, cerberus shoal, aeon spoke, byla, kayo dot, chroma key, devin townsend, strapping young lad, metallica, king diamond, maudlin of the well, judas priest, nevermore, dream theater, joe satriani, overkill, rush, rhapsody, blind guardian, running wild, gamma ray, helloween, and much much more

Movies:

ok in no particular order: airplane, spaceballs, lord of the rings, x-men movies, spider-man movies, pretty much any kevin smith movie, the abominable dr. phibes, nosferatu, hot shots, AMELIE, live after death, 12 wasted years, austin powers, city of lost children, pirates of the carribean, south park movie, transformers the movie, star wars triology(original versions!), unbreakable, american splendor was really good too, the naked gun series!, and probably a bunch of other ones i am forgetting at this point but i love most movies i see!

Television:

buffy the vampire slayer, angel, heroes, aqua teen hunger force, futurama, simpsons, the critic, family guy, harvey birdman attorney at law, the west wing

Books:

my first blog

so as of today i have now lost about 20 lbs over the last two months and have managed to finally quit the smoking habit for the most part. woo-hoo! i am bored at work and have nothing else to report.
