Doubts are more cruel than the worst of truths - Moliere

About Me

I'm one of those people who likes to give the impression of intelligence, but really, it's all just a clever ruse. I'll learn big words and read clever books, simply to try and impress people. I've been imformed that women with brains only intimidate the opposit gender. I'll have to ask my boyfriend if that's true or not - I guess it's a good thing that I'm a phony anyway.I'm Canadian, and for some reason people find it shocking that I don't speak french. I wish I did, as it would make reading Dumas and Hugo much simpler.I love all sorts of music, particularly rock and metal, but the lifestyle doesn't appeal to me, so please don't send me rude emails about going out to get fucked on cocaine or whatever it is the kids are doing these days...I can't be bothered.I really don't want to waffle on about myself because that feels somewhat narcissistic, moreover, there's more interesting things out there for people to read (my blog certainly not being one of them, but if you'd like to venture into the realm of existential russian literature that deals with moral relativism, go for it). Happiness - The carrot on the string?

In the past few years, several of my "teenage hollywood crushes" have tragically passed away. The most recent, of course, being Heath Ledger.  Prior to that I was surprised to hear that...

A little something about me...

I have a tendancy to be overly-intellectual whilst blogging, at least thats what I attempt to do. Whether or not I succeed in this endeavour is not entirely up to me.  Intellectualism, like beaut...

Turning fine literature into film...

Every once in a while, individuals with a certain amount of drive and ambition feel the need to convert skillfully written works of literature into films. Here is my thought on the subject: DON'T DO I...

On Second Thought...

Although I still stand by my previous blog of faith vs. religion, something seemed incomplete about it.  I could not help thinking that I had missed an intrinsic point, and then it occu...
