Me, me, me...I am a London girl at heart, so yes, that means as soon as I’m remotely near a tube station my walking pace increases like there’s no tomorrow, I moan about the weather (or lack of it), never pronounce my ‘t’s and call everyone ‘love’ and whine about the cost of everything even though I choose to live here.
I can redeem myself though, gladly I don’t think London is the be all and end all of life itself, quite the opposite. I love travelling and before my time is up I plan to visit as many places as possible. I spent a year and a half travelling round South East Asia and Australia and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. I have been on some of the worlds most incredible beaches, walked through inspiring temples, scuba dived some of the worlds finest coral reefs and was crazy enough to jump out of a plane at 13,000 feet!
At the top of my list of places left to conquer is Japan, Egypt, Italy and Peru...don’t ask me what else is on my list otherwise we’ll be here all day!
When I’m not day dreaming about far away lands I’m engrossed in music, whether it be listening to it on my ipod, watching it on tv or going to gigs. I’m a bit of a rock chick but I’m open to all kinds of music, especially live music. Whether it’s your first gig or your 100th, you still get that nervous excited feeling in your stomach just before your favourite band comes on stage and the sheer satisfaction when they play all the songs you’ve practised in front of the mirror with your hairbrush and not forgetting those perfect air guitar moments, you gotta love em! Rock on!!
My friends are very important to me. They are all weird and wonderful and make me laugh and I wouldn’t change them for the world!
So as long as I have my friends, my music and my travelling, I’m a happy person...oh, and crumpets with loads of margarine...and CSI...and my ipod...and Smirnoff ice..and my pj’s!!
