Who you callin' a Muppet?

About Me

Size 11 years old.
*************************
Michael Cook was born in Weatherfield, just behind the Korner Kabin, some years ago. He began his career at the Rover's Return with his own night, Betty's Hot Pot, in 1965, before being whisked off to California to start acid house in 1967. Realising he'd arrived 20 years too early, he decided to start psychedelia instead before realising he'd missed that, too, by two years. To compensate he started playing records in clubs full of people dancing, something he has done quite a few times now. Some time ago, he moved back to the UK where he also plays records for people to dance to. He lives in extreme health near Archway.

Music is and always has been pretty much my main reason for getting out of bed on an almost daily basis. I blame my best mate's older brother, who sat me down and made me listen to Whole Lotta Love on headphones on his state of the art hi-fi (we had a Dansette at our house at the time). I was 10. It changed my life.

BANDS: I don't add bands as friends unless I know you personally (occasionally you might need to remind me we've met) or unless I've found you myself and I really dig your shit (man) or someone's recommended you (and I really dig your shit (man)) ... or if we happen to strike up a beautifully meaningful friendship via the private messages route first. OK?
