About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Mandala by Ryan Frederick.

I enjoy unity and diversity, togetherness and aloneness, woods and water, mountains and cities, music and silence, intellectuality and simplicity, challenge and ease, sexiness and no need to 'attract', everything and nothing. I love the experience of "experiencing". I love Love and Truth and inner stillness. I am ever-fascinated by this Magical Mystery Tour that we call Life.

My Interests

About My Photos

Montana Morning Mists(above) was shot with an $8 disposable camera, Rama's Rainbow (right) and the rest, were all shot with an inexpensive LGA cell phone camera.

Photography is one of my unlimited interests. I don't get into the technical details of photography, but I love composing photographs. Gardening, Writing, Poetry Writing, Technical Writing, Dancing, Singing, Computers, Technology, Learning HTML, Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking, Cross-Country Skiing, Snowboarding (Only did it once... but it was great fun in spite of being terrified of those big slopes!!! Love the way the board is one with your body; you can fall down and spring right back up like Tigger the Tiger! -- It's great!) Flying as long as somebody else is in control of the plane, I just enjoy being up in the sky. Walking on the Beach, Rain, Sun, Snow, Everything! The all essential bottom line of all of This -- Love. Endless expression. Work, Play, Exploration... Silence... :-)

Grateful

Grateful for so many things

Yet material details seem to fade

And all I find I’m grateful for

Is All

Is Love Displayed

~

I'd like to meet:

The real You

Those who Love this adventure called Life!
:-)

Music:

All forms of music - all genres.

From the heart. Complex or innocently simple.

I love HERE II HERE (formerly called the Inner Voice Band). Great fun! Beautifully harmonized ~ there is an inner resonance that beams through their live performances. If they don't melt you into a puddle or throw you into a deep silence of meditation, they will have you dancing and laughing and falling in love with the Love that has found expression through their music.

Here's a new find who is jazzy and inspiring: http://www.raulmidon.com/disc.html

Movies:

Do you like Non-fiction, intelligence, science and spirituality? If your answer is "YES", then watch this: ..

Cocoon - has a sweet resonance when they unzip their skin and are Light, Contact - changed my sense of perception for several days; loved Jodi Foster's character in her drive to 'go for it' and her willingness to embrace the unknown - it's a favorite movie, The Mission - has an amazing score, The Edge - intense survival movie, Whale Rider -goes right to the heart, Fierce Creatures - very funny -- John Clease (if you haven't seen it, it's basically the same cast as in A Fish Called Wanda)- it's slap stick and goofy and very funny, The Thin Red Line - a most beautiful and profound war movie - beautiful cinematography, GI Jane - a great women's strength movie.

Television:

now and then -- Public Television, shows about personal transformation, nature, cooking, traveling, history, sports, ice-dancing

Here's a great resource -- this is the PBS of the Internet: http://www.linktv.org/

Books:

Bhagavad-Gita -- translation by Christopher Isherwood, with forward by Aldous Huxley.

A book on screenwriting... I don't have the title right in front of me.

Rereading The Way Of Life: According to Laotzu translated by Witter Bynner

The I-Ching authored by The Mystery, or God - Itself... as far as I can tell...

Heroes:

Those awakened beings who spread light and love and clarity through their very presence.
Every person who probes the depths of themselves and their spirit. Every person who has the courage to go forward, to not listen to the cacophony of his or her thoughts, but to listen to that inner voice of Unlimited Awareness and to keep an open heart as they walk through this world.
