June 28th '08 Album goes off to be manufactured next week, the first run of the album will be a very special edition with exclusive packaging, we're all very proud of how it looks and we now believe the packaging matches the music.
June 6th '08 Album sleeve designs are now in their final stages and they're are looking great. KIK t-shirt designs are now finished too, these will be available at the RockScar Album Launch Shows in August.
You can blame the love of music for the relationship of the five like-minded souls known as KIK. After dabbling in various bands, studios and nightclubs over the last five years, it was inevitable that these guys would stumble across each other at some point in their musical journey. With influences from many genres, KIK collaborated in 2003 and began to develop a very unique sound. Each member emerges from a completely different musical background, with diverse influences such as Bowie, Depeche Mode, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Tiësto and INXS to name but a few, its not surprising KIK have created a unique, 15 track album, entitled 'RockScar' .
'RockScar' has taken 2 years to complete. Written, produced and engineered by the band themselves, KIK's 'RockScar' is influential, no doubt about it. Delivering a blend of rock guitars and dirty synths, delivered in a way that is totally unique. KIK also believe that a bands look is as important as the music, they have a sleazy rock n'roll glamour about them that transcends all genres.

KIK Live is an experience that should not be missed. A visual and musical onslaught and always entertaining.
KIK have a growing alternative following while retaining a fascination for those who veer more to the mainstream.
Kerrang! FM are very supportive of the band and to date have played 19 KIK tracks on air and have showcased the entire album plus additional material. They have named 'Crack-Whore-Barbi' as one of their "Modern Classics" and play-listed the song in their unsigned show. Kerrang! FM have selected KIK as their "Band to Watch for 2008".

KIK will be releasing their debut album 'RockScar' this summer through their own label. If any press, radio stations, tv companies, labels etc want an advance promo of KIK's album and / or KIK's videos for review etc then please contact KIK via myspace or at [email protected]
