Destructo. what's up yal, the idea of my music to speak my mind out about whatever I feel like, I"m here to give the listener piece of mind. In an authentic flow changing high energy style. I bin at this for over a decade and plan to master a clearly pronounced technical rap vocal style. I got a lot of shit to say so you can guarantee I'm not gonna be stoppin this shit until I die. I"ve shared the stage with,; Obie Trice, Naughty by Nature, IRS, Classified, Warsaw Pack, Awole 1, Choclaire and Solitaire, BLack Moon, Kyprios, Swollen Members, DL Incognito, Masta Ace, Punchline and Wordsworth, Eternia, The Crest, Marco Polo, Dirty crew, and peeps from my crew have played with Souls of Mischief, Non Phixion, and many more. on august 17th 2007 I won 2 International music awards in the Cravefest International Music awards in Toronto, I beat out groups like Alkoholics and many other from the UK, US, Canada, and many more, I won best song of the year for my song "Alright Okay" and best video of the year also for "Alright okay." I recieved tonnes of press and it was a great experience. As I child I fell in love with hip hop starting with the Beastie boys, probably in the either the late 80's early 90's. I started to peep RUN-DMC, the Fat Boys, and was buying all types of rap compilation, Eric B and Rakim was dope and BDP also. Public Enemy came a long and I was hooked!!! And this is when shit had alot more of a message, a type of political movement and awareness of what the fuck was goin on in the streets and in office. I was really young when all this stuff came out so I did miss a few things but began to grow up and understand the lyrics more , 93 came along and still to this day was the golden year of hip hop in my life and many. Damn man what an explosion of talents, yal know!!! Wu-tang hit the scene, Heiroglyphics cats like Souls of Mischief, Del the funky homosapian, Casual, then other flavours were droppin like Beatnuts,Ganstar, Jeru the Damager and lots of other stuff that was all different and all dope. in 95 BIg L hit the scene and that man was the fuckin illest flow changing cat I think of all time hands down and that's a huge loss in hip hop when he was shot and killed 4 years after cause I think of what he coulda put out in the future. I'm in the Winnipeg crew known as DEEPCAVE and we will b launching a website very soon at deepcave.com so go peep that will b done in April 2007 featuring some of the sickest Canadian emcee's like my man Royal-t, Big Bear, 40oz, Nevaming the Damage dun, Intelev, Sir Slopeye, Dj poetics, Stacey James and many more. Also I got a video droppin right soon for my single off the album(Anthems)" alright ok" and will b on this page and might already b, the vid was shot by Toronto director Derek Smith in my home town in this big mansion we rented, it should b pretty sick. BUt anyways I like listening to , WU-Tang, Heiro, Jeru tha Damager, Eric B and Rakim, Beastie Boys, Big Daddy Kane, BDP, Public Enemy,Big L, Pharcyde, Del la Soul, Slick Rick Black Sheep, fushnikans, Maestro fresh Wes, Soul, Dose 1, Sage francais and all that anticon shit, Slug, and all that. Kool Keith, I love him as Dr. Octagon, Prince paul, RJD2, El-P, Aesope rock and all that def jux shit is ill, Cannible ox, Murs, Mr.lif, Yak Ballz. I like livings legends, Awole 1, which my homie Big Bear has done trax with, Immortal Technic, all those BOot Camp Clik guys, Afu-Ra, RA the Rugged man, M.O.P, Onyx, Mos Def, a Tribe Called Quest, Jedi Mind Trix, I just heard some new Jus Allah shit man that guy is hodin it down without Vinny Pas, Aceyalone, Blue Print, Cage, Charizma and PeanutButter wolf, the death of Charizma is another damn Shame. Tupac, Biggy, I miss the old Company flow shit I wonder what ever happend to BIg Jus he was ill. Copywrite, Dan the Automator, Deltron 3030 still gives me goosebumps. Mf Doom, Eyedea and Abilities, I think Ghost face Killa is a fuckin hip hop genius and very drivin. Grave Diggaz, I'm influenced by every member in my crew and other dope rappers I know like Icis Nizz, members of Sleepclinic and others. Lords of the Underground, Lodeck, Red man , Old Mobb Deep, NAS, Talib Kwali, Trife the god and many more I can;t think of anyone else right now but I hope you ge the point how important this shit is to me lol. my producer's name is Phil Larway and you can check out alot of what he's bin up to musically on Philliplarway.com. Also most of the shit I"ve recorded was done by Dr. Destructo at revolution music studio. peep what he's bin up to on Revolutionmusic.net and if you like metal check out baycore.net. I just wanna shout out everyone who's helped me and all the people that have givin me beats or got down on a collabo. peeps like Haruki, Cracky the Europe man Dj-esus (Calen Grant) R.I.P. I'm gonna really miss you and I love you. Emcee One Eyed, Icis Nizz, Dr. Destructo and all peeps I played bands in with. I'm influenced by all kinds of othe music to cause I also sing for a metal Band called RED DEVIL and have performed in numerous types of funk bands, metal bands, punk bands all kinds of stuff. If anyone wants an album drop me a line I recorded "MR. EMPTY POCKETS" in 2003 and "ANTHEMS" in 05-06, both albums are roughly an hour long and have no interludes, just pure ill Hip Hop. I got another one droppin this year called ''SHINE'' so stay tuned. I'm not much of a hater but I fuckin hate long hooks and short verses repetitive predictable lyrics, anoying loops tha never change, and impotant lyrics, yal got nothin to talk about other than the so called money you got, or should I say what the label makes it look like you have. Fuck this bullshit flashy sensless rap. i think its gettin old and I'm not the only one. if you want a message and some substance filled lyric and dope producion, me and my man Phil Larway got the cure. thanks for peepin my page and much luv and respect-WD-
