DJ BROOKE MARIE***Brooke Marie is a San Francisco Bay Area native who grew up with the love and passion for music. Joining the prodominately male industry in 2000, she has made an impact ever since. Brooke Marie was the only female member of the now non existant production crew Brainchild Entertainment, the ORGY parties and traveled with them to dj in Mexico and WMC 2002.Brooke Marie got her first start in radio appearing on a #1 rated radio station for their underground house music show in San Francisco in 2002, before moving abroad to Barcelona, Spain. Brooke Marie expanded this radio experience abroad appearing on a radio station in Barcelona. Brooke Marie also worked with Casagrande Records in BCN writing lyrics to a song that was released throughout Europe.Once Brooke Marie returned to the Bay Area she began working for San Francisco's only Dance Radio Station Energy 92.7fm in November 2004. After a few months in promotions she was given an hour to mix on 'Downtown Underground'. Eventually this expanded to Friday night in the mix.
In September 2005, Brooke Marie was put on air to host Friday Night in The Mix. Brooke Marie was the only female mixer on Energy 92.7 and she was the first female to be put on air at Energy. Brooke Marie hosted Friday Night In the Mix 12-6a and Saturday Afterhours mix 12-6a. She has also been the second female dj ever to be on Sirius's dance station 'THE BEAT' Channel 36.
