About Me

So yay!, I have made it through just over two and a half years of living here. I love this city with a violent passion! I have an amazing flat in North Beach just below the wonky bit of Lombard street. I consider myself so lucky to live where I do. I still walk around, and it hits me that I actually live here. It's amazing. Ok so here's me: I came from a tiny town at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I was born with skis on and grew up as a tomboy. I was raised by a Norwegian and a Brit/Spaniard. I played lacrosse, soccer, and hockey growing up. I love working on cars. Basically my town was focused on high school football, and I wasn't. When I was 13, my mother promised me that I would get out and become the big city girl I was always destined to be. I left town and went to London. Now I am educated in culinary sciences, however I am currently a student again. I've decided to go back to school to pursue design and art direction. I love my music, and there is no better high than great music, great people, and a great venue all together at once. I have always been destined to be on the world's stage, but I haven't had the chance yet. The closest I have gotten to that dream is being the photographer for several large concerts. I'm nuts in a good way...multi lingual, well traveled, and well read. Things are always fun and/or funny with me. Laughter is my favorite activity. Spontaneity is the best whether its staying in bed all day because I want to or joining a rowing team. I am NOT a marina girl...Thank god! I don't think I could ever bring myself to be one of 'those'. Ick.
