About Me

Create a playlist with this song on imeem
I'm an easygoing gal, but intense and focused when the need arises. Pop and soul music from the 1960's rule my world, but the modern music of today is what keeps me based in reality. :) Fair trade practices and products are my desired things, organic items as well. We only have one planet, we have to treat it right! We only have one life, too: Cultivate your local and global community, and you will be treated well by them in return. :) I am driven by the need to consistently get better and better as a person. My friends and family are what give me purpose and drive to my life.

My Interests

Rock, soul, jazz, & easy listening music, fashions, movies, television shows, and other culture from the 1960's; music of today, including rock, soul, dance music, jazz, and gozadera; reading nonfiction, mysteries and action thriller books; going to live music concerts and West Coast Live broadcasts; animals; enjoying good food and friendship. Helping out with my local and global community. Also: Amateur deejaying at Indie Circus, attending local trunk shows such as Feria Urbana, Frank and Arpel, Chillin', Vestita Roupa, and any street fair involving my favorite local clothes and jewelry designers. Contributing donations to my favorite causes. :)

I'd like to meet:

Sweet, sincere and decent people who inspire me and make me happy. Warm, positive and intelligent people that love life and adventure. They care about themselves, and thus enable people to care about them, too. Low key, but with a life force and a good sense of humor.
