I like nordic culture and his mythology (trolls, elfs, valkyries ...), spiritism and spiritualism, Ying Yang within and around us. I believe in reincarnation (the more we are reincarnated, the more we progress spiritually and closer to God we will be). I like camping and doing sports (fitness, swimming, cycling, soccer and cardio). I adore ancient things, art and cinema. I believe in "Orandum est ut sit, mens sana in corpore sano". I like everything related to new technologies.

To preserve the environment is an art. It is an act that does not cost anything to you and does well to all. It is to be conscious, it is to have responsibility, solidarity and above all, love. love for the nature, for your fellow man, for the children of the present and the future.
I ask to you, PRESERVE THE ENVIRONMENT. Without it you are nothing.

SEVEN WONDERS OF PORTUGAL


ONE OF MY FAVORITE PROJECTS OF HEAVY-METAL - "Who cries for the children? I do".
"On May 20 and 21, 1985, 40 artists from the metal community gathered at A&M Records Studios to participate in the making of a record called "Stars," as a part of a very special project known as Hear 'N Aid. The "Stars" single and a video documentary on the making of the record was used to raise money for famine relief efforts in Africa and around the world. These 40 artists, along with hundreds of other volunteers, donated their time and talent over four months to make Hear 'N Aid a reality. "Stars" is a plea for unity in the fight against world hunger".

MY GREAT PASSION: In 1985, when I was 14 years old, heard for the 1st time in the radio a program called "Lança Chamas". It was a program devoted exclusively to the world of the Hard n Heavy. I heard a music called "Creeping Death" and my life changed since then. The passion was growing in such a strong way, that for decades several musical waves has appeared, but I..ve always remained loyal to what I call the way of being in the life - my life’s philosophy. HEAVY METAL FOREVER!!!

A MESSAGE OF A HEADBANGER FOR HEADBANGERS OR NOT: It is not of today that the rock has its image definitely connected with the resistance, with the challenge and with the escape of the conventional one. Perhaps, therefore, it has exceeded music frontiers , you returning do not punish one any more facet of this form of art but also a cultural phenomenon and, for many people, a way of life, which woke the adoration of so many people and, on the other side, the suspicion and dislike of any sectors more conservative of the society.
Among the newspaper commentaries slopes of the rock, one in special manages to provoke feelings of love and hate in equal and gigantic proportions. It is able to shock and to cause indignation in many people, at the same time in which it raises legions of devotees.THIS IS THE HEAVY METAL!!!
People usually have a heavy metal vision widely distorted, which was shown and solidified through years of prejudice and erroneous or incomplete informations spread by the fortune “great media”. Besides, some of the admirers and representatives of the style, what did not understand her real essence sweats, never they made an effort in trying to modify this image and, on the contrary, even they reinforced in the popular imaginary thing, with reprehensible attitudes, all the corrupted notions that have been on the headbangers.
The one who is or was close to heavy-metal and was not carried along by excessive radicalism, knows that most of what is shown in the media not specialized are well far from the reality on this slope of the rock. The name 'metalman' (awful term, in my opinion) always appear like villains in novels and movies or then like individuals of little education and the worst ways. Those are shown how persons like limited intellectually or still like rioters, marginal and violent.
Most of the enthusiasts of this kind of music begin to listen to heavy-metal since they are young, in a time where they were still not contaminated by the massive “propaganda” of wrong ideas and daily pay conceived on the style, which perhaps is one of the most sincere of the music. Heavy rock fans are not punished if they like the musicians, or if they live for them or if they take the heavy like an extension of their lives. Heavy-metal is loyal, it is not concerned about idioms or tendencies: on the contrary, it has a tendency to repudiate them. However, this theme apparently rebellious and challenging for times finishes being interpreted badly by some of its followers themselves. There are some people who think that being a headbanger is having bad appearance, or being untidy, or getting drunk and not behaving in public places, or cursing everything that is not in the context of the metal. With that, the inconsequence of someone finishes blackening the image of the whole vehicle that presents a characteristic in common: her of liking the same type of music.
Only what brings a time near in the way of anyone, where the individual is introduced to the responsibilities of the life and, wanting or not, is obliged to realize that some changes of behaviour are necessary to humankind survival.
The question is that none should generalize any situation. There is another side of the History, which is composed by an enormous contingent of people who look in the metal for a way of amusement, entertainment and life, without needing of escape of the social familiarity and without losing the respect for what is exterior to the style. Many people crossed decades, became parents, good professionals like me, and kept on cultivating the adoration for this type of sound.
Well, it is known by all that there are subtypes of the heavy metal, that preach and practice the satanysm without any embarrassment and there are peculiarities of each one that are respected. Likewise, there are those directions that board Christian and peace subjects. Some peolple say headbangers commit acts of stupidity and violence, others are already peace-loving to the extreme. The question is: would be correct putting all the artists and fans of a musical type in a paupers' grave of prejudice and always doing these criticism and accusations?
The fact is that there are directions that can be considered satanic, also there is a number much bigger of Satanic sects what nothing has to do with the heavy rock. Likewise, the violence occurs at any place where there was a constituted society and we can’t be said that heavy has increased or reduced it. The chance of a fight to appear in a metal show is the same of it in a pop show, or a funky one and so on… There are good and bad persons at all the places, independently of their race, sex, religion or musical taste.
Metal is a style full of labels but its biggest ambition was always that of being the form of entertainment, of amusement, it swims besides. A world that calls the 'metal' directions of lunatics or childlike since they write on epic subjects or of that there is the same thing that fills cinemas to assist movies that reach the same subject. And also there is the same thing that pretends not to know that several groups also speak about history, politics, behaviours, peace and, amaze, even of love. Some directions are wrapped in humane causes and charitable events but that passes far from what it is spread by the great vehicles of communication. This musical type, in terms of letters, is not even more contestador of all them to me if making the antithesis of ‘ politically correctly ’, perhaps it was something that never will be domesticated or will accept to do concessions to be adapted to a more polished, socially acceptable image and what could serve like product to be sold in wide scale again.
Therefore, the headbanger has to be above all authentic, true, to live and to hear what it likes, independently of what he say to him or of what be in fashion. Meantime, not less essential it is to withdraw that the limit of space of each one is the space of the companion to the side. Never be able to demand respect for own you if, before that, respect is not dedicated to others. When all they learn to practice that, already good part of the way will have been passed to show to the persons that the fear and the prejudice for with the heavy metal were always unfounded.
