I began making music as soon as I could. Born the son of a mother who was a music major, and a father that played drums in marching bands, I had NO choice but to get reeled into the world of music.After producing tracks for several local artists, I became a memeber of VA's infamous Dirty Dozenz (not to be confused with Eminem's D 12'z). The group, which consisted of Dip Dab (R.I.P.), Big Tap, and the 7 Cities' own radio personality on 103 Jamz- Mic Lord. Along with my production partner, Dazz One, we managed to produce a song which broke ground for VA artists getting recognized. The song, "In This to Win This", appeared on Immortal/Sony Records' The Next Chapter LP which featured other unsigned artists at the time, such as: Dilated Peoples, Defari, and others.Following that release, Dazz and I went on to produce tracks for Flipmode Squad's Rah Digga's demo tape, as well as others who were just getting their careers off of the ground during that time.I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Purdue University in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, and have published several research articles which have served as major contributions to my field of work. However, the music does not STOP.....I have recently picked up the bass guitar and have been moving more towards the meshing of dirty, gritty samples along with live instrumentation, which I am constantly tweaking to near-perfection......STAY TUNED.
