I love to engage in activities which stimulate or challenge my intellect. I have a passion for movies, especially ones that make me think and feel beyond my own limited perspective. Activities with which I can be found entertaining myself from time to time include going on picnics and going camping, playing in water, going to clubs (particularly Area 51) to dance or to one where I might hear a live band. I love going to coffee or breakfast with friends, roller-blading, mini golfing, reading about and studying natural health and theology (I enjoy fiction as well, but lately it seems like learning has been more important to me). My favorite thing in the world to do is key in to people's passions and see how that person's life blossoms because of those passions.

I would like to meet intelligent individualists in my area who might want to talk about Philosophy, Theology, Psychology.
I would be interested in having a picnic on the roof, coffee at midnight, watching movies all night, picking out the red Swedish fish together or riding horses in the rain.
I am NOT interested in sports, racing or hunting. I am interested in matters of the mind and spirit. I hope that you will take this into consideration if you try to contact me. I am a pacifist and very non-competitive, so those things don't mesh with my soul.
Music:
I like music that is powerful and moving. I have eclectic taste that includes Metal, Classic Rock, 80s, Goth/Industrial to Electronica, Classical and New Age as well as Jazz and Blues.
I do have to say "No, thanks," to most country, Scream-o and hip-hop, though. Sorry, that's just not my cup of tea.

Movies:
I can tell you TYPES of movies I like, but naming my favorites would take all day. I loved movies from the 80s, cult films, I enjoy comedies as long as they are not too gross, romantic comedies, sci-fi, fantasy, sometimes a good drama is nice, some westerns, action has to have substance to it for me. Even a little troma is fun once in a while, but it takes a really good horror film to make me interested. NO slasher films. NO gang or mob movies. Don't really like heist-related ones either. I think I have covered most of the types of movies out there, except for film noir and independent. Those depend on the movie for me, I guess.
Television:
The Simpson's, South Park, Invader Zim, anything on the Discovery or Animal Channels...I don't know what else is on. I never really watch TV unless it's at someone else's house. I tend to intentionally make myself too busy for TV, but if someone else is watching with me, I tend to really enjoy anything that can make me laugh or think.
Books:
I love books having to do with mystical stuff, theology, metaphysics, fantasy, healing, etc.
Heroes:
I don't idolize others, but I admire many. Those who make the best of bad times, those who advocate peace over war, those who believe in giving aid to those in need and those who believe that we create our own realities...and comedians!
