.. width="425" height="350"Sacred Slaughter was formed in September, 2005. It was started by former HammerWhore drummer, Eric Pena. With Pena's love for thrash, and new love for Jesus, he decided to start a Christian thrash band. The first one added to the line up was Dawson McGuffin as lead guitarist. Then followed by EJ Garza on bass. After weeks of searching, the band found a drummer Steven Garcia.The band stuck around for a few months and played some local shows, but the band parted ways. ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------- NOW its a new year, 2007 and Eric Pena is ready to unleash Sacred Slaughter.Plans right now are to record a new Demo which will be titled "Slaughter Fest" Demo 07, and Eric plans to record the whole album as a one man band, if anyone is interested in helping out with anything please contact me. Sounds Like: Our style of music is a blend of thrash bands like Slayer,Nuclear Assault,Exodus and SOD with punk influences like Minor Threat and The Exploited, and death metal influences as well.To sum it up i would say we sound like Dark Angel,Hammerwhore,and Toxic Holocaust but with christian lyrics .. width="425" height="350"
