Society In Khaos Clothing© was born out of an idea from 4 individuals that had their own visions of creating something for themselves. Starting with a concept in 2001, they began to produce quality clothing right out of one of their garages. Scrapping what little money each of them had at the time, they began collecting supplies at the local art store, garage sales, and even dumpsters. Bringing them to their makeshift headquarters in the garages of their residential neighbor hoods, a true DIY company was born. They took on the whole process of production and distribution, from design, to silk screening, and final sale of the product. The four of these guys only set out to create something they would like to wear, and in turn it became something others would quickly grasp onto along the way. All four rolled the dice and started to put all the energy they had into working on this project. After some mistakes that they could only learn from, the four guys started to understand the process of “the business†they got themselves into.
In the time that these four gentlemen have been conscious to understand their surroundings, they have formed their own views without influences from the masses. Everything that Society In Khaos Clothing© projects is meant to trigger something familiar in not only our customer, but also the general population. We are not trying to send political, emotional, or any type of message. S.I.K. Clothing was built on ideas, not ideals. And wants people to think more than anything.
Fast forward to present day. With boxes of inventory pilled to the ceilings in bedrooms that are still being used to sleep in, computer desks littered with notes and ideas, it is hard to keep track of what’s going on sometimes. Product demand has been overwhelming. Now that they have gone through a few sets of printings, reordering, a trip across the country, and countless days at local music festivals under their belts, Society In Khaos Clothing© is coming of age. While growing as a company, they have been growing as a family.
