About Me

The Protektorz (P.O.C.) - Welcome to The Protektorz Of the City's myspace page. We are a crew of hip hop artists that live in Houston, Texas. We invite you to come in and feel the vibe of that real good hip hop music that comes from the heart. We believe in the power and influence that words have and we seek to not only entertain the masses that may gather to hear us spit, but also to inform them of any truths that need to be exposed. Our mission is to Protekt the art form and it's fundamental foundation of honesty, integrity, and reality so that it does not become misinterpreted by others as an ignorant, materialistic culture. We may not change the world through this endeavor, however we strive to give our best every time we do this. Our aim is not to mislead the youth by speaking of vain desires for material objects. Rather we seek to instill hope, inspiration and knowledge in to them so that they may be feel energized and able to believe that the fate of the planet has a positive outcome. Thanks for taking the time to check us out and if you are feeling the movement, spread the word!Wraithe Fantum - I'd rather let the music speak for itself. Dirty South Resident. UK adolescent angst and charm school. East Coast street corner education. Hard knock graduate. Uni-versities-at-war. Intergalactic linguistics. An instrument of divine manufacture. Soldiers for a Higher Power. "I'm hoping you feel me and it hits you in the chest. My evolution is elevation, and I wish you the best."The Niyat - "Do's & Dont's" Video Synato Watts - An emcee of a different breed. Been rhyming since the early 90's in various groups such as Plifedis alongside Kay Z The Thinker. Very much an abstract poetical style with much b-boy swagger. originally from Queens, N.Y. Now a resident of Houston, TX. and representing pure hip hop art from the heart. One 3rd The Niyat, be on the lookout for upcoming material.Synato Watts - "Once Again - Close Encounters" videoSnap aka Clay Red - The verbal assault weapon with the invisible clay style. Been spitting his craft since the early 90's in groups such Poeticl Souls along with DJ GT, and in the amazing 9 person crew The Psyko Ward (with D-Ology, Tabu Da Rekka, T-Rex, The Twins, Ego, aka Sandman The Beholda, and Fliponya). Very diverse with his subject matter. He possesses the ability to get at emcees with a highly technical lyrical delivery and can also spit the truth about the human condition that almost anyone can relate to. Also 1/3rd of The Niyat you can check out more of his material to be coming soon.Snap aka Clay Red - "Flex Raw" videoD-Ology - Perhaps one of the best emcees to ever come from 3rd Ward Texas. He is an emcees favorite emcee. Ask around the elite circles of artists from Texas and they all will attest to the undeniable mic prowess that he possesses. He came into the culture in the late 80's amongst the Eric B & Rakim, Kool G Rap and Ultramagnetic days. He was also in The Psyko Ward. He is known for the amazing ability to wield a highly complex intricate word and phrase formation not only in his written material but when freestyling also. A seasoned battle rap veteran with many titles under his belt, he is still going hard and makes weak emcees flee at the mere mention of his name. D-Ology, 1/3rd of The Niyat.D-Ology - "PSA Part2" videoTabu Da Rekka (L.A., CA.) - The original live wire emcee with the anytime anyplace kind of mentality, he is CURRENTLY RESIDING IN Los Angeles, CA. pursuing his craft and family obligations. Also an original member of The Psyko Ward alongside D-Ology and Snap aka Clay Red and others. He is a lethal emcee that believes in bringing back the essence of truth and skills to the game. His lyrical sword is able to destroy wack emcees but can also shed light and knowledge about the human experience that can uplift and inspire the heart. Look out for more music from him coming soon.THE P.O.C. - The Protektorz Of the City"; I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
