Update: I'm getting relentlessly spammed with friending requests by 'members' who are really just advertising their photo site or dating service, so for the time being if you want to friend me, you'll need to enter a CAPTCHA code after clicking on the 'Add to Friends' button, so I'll know you're a real person and not a spam robot. Thanks!

For some reason, it's always really hard for me to list my favorite movies, so maybe I should just list some favorite directors. In no particular order: Krzysztof Kieslowski, François Truffaut, Eric Rohmer, Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, Luis Buñuel, Roger Corman, Richard Lester, Alain Robbe-Grillet (he co-taught a film class I took), Ridley Scott, Bob Rafelson, Louis Malle, Milo,, Forman, Tim Burton, Orson Welles, Ed Wood, Jr.... and more to come.
Umm... I don't have cable at the moment, so I'm not watching much TV these days, but I do try to catch Soundstage and Austin City Limits on PBS, and The Simpsons as often as possible.
Last book I read was "Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classical Music" by Blair Tindall. I used to envy the lives of classical musicians until I read this book.
